John Krane began his solo career after a severe emotional collapse and a period of extreme binging, during which Jesus asked him to stop calling (John had mistaken a latin man for the savior, but ended up buying most excellent hubcaps at well below list).
After recovering, he began writing floaty pop tunes and desolate, crippling stories, all driven with a bizarre sense of humor and excellent melodies. His album Doris, Buzz and Friends, conceptually tells 10 true stories ranging from an actual historical alternative to the nuclear bomb to a one night stand to an experiment performed in the 1950's on the linguistic abilities of dolphins.
